About Us

The Rotorua Angler’s Club welcomes you to their web site.

The Rotorua Anglers Club has been in existence now for more than half a century.

Our club has a current membership of 150 people ranging from teenagers to retired folk, all of whom share a love of the great outdoors.

We have formulated a “Code of Responsibility when on or crossing private land” which we would like all club members to adhere to and use when approaching landowners for permission to enter onto private land to fish.

Our clubrooms which are located close to town, are licensed and we hold a social evening every Friday evening between 5.00pm and 7.00 pm for all members and friends to talk and mingle with some of the best trout fishermen in New Zealand, and others!
