Our people doing our bit for our lakes

Members of the Rotorua Anglers Association take part in tree planting  and maintance of the Kauaka Stream twice a year.  The Kauaka stream flows into Lake Rotorua and has been cleared,  and planted  over the last 15 years by Joe Fleet.

Fly Tying 5th October 2009

Roger Bowden to demonstrate his world famous  Glow bug. (Emerger pattern for the purist). 5th October, 7.00 pm at the clubrooms.

Kids Fishouts

The last childrens  fishout is on the following date for 2009:

1 st November 2009

Cost is $3.00. All young anglers (ages 6 to 14) are given a casting lesson and then a chance to catch a trout from the fish and game pond. Morning fishing session is from 9.00 am to 12.00pm and the afternoon session is from 1.00 pm to 3.00 pm. All equipment is supplied.
